In the final minutes, the Dynamo had two excellent chances to tie the match but shots by Corey Ashe and Lovel Palmer were both deflected. Cam Weaver also had a header bounce off of the post in the last minute of the first half.</p><p>Brian Ching played the entire second half after replacing Weaver in the line-up at halftime. In the closing minutes, Ching was chasing down a through-ball when he was dragged down just outside the box. The foul resulted in a second yellow card for Adrian Aldrete. Morelia played the final minutes of the game shorthanded. Houston was playing a man down for the entire second half after Lovel Palmer was red-carded [...]]]></description> <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Brian Mullan headed home the tying goal for Houston, in the 90th minute, allowing the Dynamo to earn an exciting 2-2 draw versus New York.</p><p>Mullan entered the game with just 15 minutes to play as the Dynamo&#8217;s third substitute. Houston was playing a man down for the entire second half after Lovel Palmer was red-carded in the 44th minute. Houston had been playing with just one forward in the second half until Mullan entered the match. Then the Dynamo switched to a 3-4-2 formation with Mullan playing forward alongside Brian Ching. Ching and Andrew Hannault had the assists on Mullan&#8217;s goal.</p><p>The match was the MLS debut of French international Thierry Henry who played the full 90 minutes and assisted on New York&#8217;s first goal.
